40 weeks + 5

40 weeks plus 5 days today, had a membrane sweep yesterday at 2 PM... so far, one contraction and (TMI) bits of my mucus plug have been coming out. If I don’t have him this week, I’ll be induced Sunday at 5 AM and miss Christmas with my kiddos who will be staying with their grandma. 😔

I feel so down, like my body just won’t do what it’s supposed to do. My doctor really doesn’t want to induce me, and I’d rather not be, but I don’t think I’ll have a choice. 😔

Anyone have any other tips on what could help the contractions start? I was dilated to a 4 yesterday.
