Next step?!

Question

My husband and I have been TTC for 14 months now.
 We are being seen by a reproductive endocrinologist. I have PCOS and my husband just had his SA done and it came back severe male factor and they want to retest my question is has Anyone else been in the position? 
What did you do when you found out? 
How did you handle it emotionally?

Hey girl! We are fortunate in the fact that our issue is only male factor, but my husband’s case has been extreme. The RE told us his only chance for a biological child is IVF. That was a soul-crushing blow. We scheduled an appt with urology to get more of an idea of what is happening, and he gets his results from the ultrasound the urologist ordered the day after Christmas. Hoping for a day after Christmas miracle. It’s so draining dealing with infertility, and we’ve both shed some tears. We are on month 17, and try to have date nights on especially sad days, find ways to make this process fun and exciting again (like talking names or announcement ideas), and occasionally put a baby-bam on a weekend - no talking, stressing, or thinking about baby things. We will do stuff we/I can’t do after I’m pregnant, and just enjoy being two people with the time and means to be spontaneous and selfish. You have to try a few things out to find what works for you. I definitely recommend seeing his PCM to refer him to urology. Fingers crossed you get a game plan soon. 💜 Even that helps tremendously.
