How many oz is normal for an 11 month old?

My newly turned 11 month old started refusing his daytime bottles last week so I've been giving him formula in a sippy cup but he drinks less this way. I compensated by adding in an extra snack. In total he drinks about 18-20oz (he used to take 24oz) of formula a day and eats 3 meals and 2 snacks. Is this ok? I give him water in between the meals and he will take usually 4-5oz of that through out the entire day.

I honestly never kept track of how many oz my.11 month old took but i did notice be decreased as he got closer to 1. I did what you did just gave snacks and 3 meals and he kept growing and gaining weight so it worked for us

I think that sounds fine. He’s almost a year old so soon he’ll be off formula soon anyway. And if he’s eating food throughout the day he’s still getting other nutrition as well.

As long as he’s eating, and getting fluids your fine, next month, he’s not even going to be drinking formula anymore. My pediatrician told me I could start introducing milk at this age, but a lot of other moms will tell you that’s a big “ no no”.
