Thrush or sore nipples

My daughter has a lip and tongue tie and we got that corrected. Tried nursing without nipple shield for 5 days and she cracked my nipples. In the meantime I just got diagnosed with vaginal yeast and bacterial vaginitis. My nipples were so sore from those days nursing without a shield bc her latch was so shallow. Now when I nurse with the shield my nipples burn and the breast sometimes gets itchy. They feel sore but not excruciating like everyone describes thrush to feel like. Do you think I have thrush? Does it start out super painful or is it manageable and then gets more painful?
