Has anyone had the Lupron Depot shot?

I am wondering if anyone has had the lupron depot shot for adenomyosis or endometriosis? I just had my second failed IVF Cycle and my doctor is recommending the lupron depot shot which will basically put me into menopause for 3 months to hopefully help shrink my adenomyosis and increase my chances for a successful IVF Cycle. Wondering if any ladies out there have taken it, what side effects you experienced and if you were able to get pregnant after?

I got the shot for fibroids and then had them removed surgically. I feel like the shot gave me some headaches and made me hotter than usual, but it wasn’t a big deal. We had unrelated fertility problems afterwards. My doctor said it wears off and doesn’t affect future fertility.

I have taken it for a couple of months for endometriosis (wasn’t trying to conceive at the time) it’s been a couple of years ago but I can’t remember any side effects and it wasn’t too bad. It just didn’t help my endometriosis pain and had laparoscopic surgery after. I would say it wouldn’t hurt to try it! I am now 21weeks pregnant.
