Only 14 weeks and feeling kicks? FTM.

So I am only 14 weeks and this is my first, but I swear I've been feeling kicks/movements for a few days now. They are very distinct feelings. I even grabbed my belly yesterday as like a reflex because I felt something like a little pop. I have also felt subtle "kick kick" sensations and rolling. Is it too early, especially for it being my first? I know it isnt gas because I know what gas feels like and these are softer and feel like they're coming from deeper inside. I am also very thin so idk if that could make me feel it earlier.

You guys are all wrong!! People can feel kicks movement as early as 11 weeks because I am one of them! I’m on my 5th child and there isn’t a person in the world who can say “she doesn’t know what she’s talking about” everyone is different and some mommies are more aware of their LO movements much sooner than others...all the things you’re describing sounds exactly like them little movements that people experience early on! Congratulations btw! 🥰

Ok. I’m still going to go with what my doctor says.

people who have been pregnant before feel it sooner is because they know what it feels like...that’s not to say a first time mom can’t feel them that soon? When a Dr says that’s that’s when people start to feel movement that’s just an estimate...in reality the baby starts moving as early as 8 weeks so in theory it’s possible to feel them anytime after that. I personally have always felt movements before 12 weeks with all my kids.

I felt kicks as early as 12 weeks. I dont care what anyone says. Youve been gassy and pooping for all the years of your life- you know what gas feels like. I know what it feels like. My daughter kicked me 3 times at 12 weeks and it was consecutive. Mommas know their body better than anyone. My step mom felt ALL of her 6 babies at 12 weeks. So anyone saying "its too early" shouldnt pop anyones bubble. Which ive seen a TON of on here. Just because one person doesnt feel their kid until 16 weeks doesnt mean others dont feel them earlier. Xoxoxo

I start feeling my baby at around 14 weeks too. Everybody kept saying it was to early because I’m a FTM too but I knew it was! Now, I’m 17 weeks and I’m sure it was the baby. Enjoy the moment! There’s nothing better than feeling your little one moving around :)

It’s possible but not likely. The popping is likely gas bubbles, but could also be little movements. Really depends on a lot of things so it’s hard to know.
