I have previously been on the Depo shot (a total of three years) and I stopped for about two years when I lost health insurance. I lost my period when I took it last, but I cannot remember how fast that was.

I just started it up again - got the shot two weeks ago - and I was due to get my period a few days ago and I haven’t gotten it. I’m worried I’m pregnant from the last time I had unprotected sex before the shot.

They took a pregnancy test when I got the shot but she did want me back in two weeks to make sure.

Should I be worried, or is the stoppage of my period so quickly just because I’ve been on Depo before? Help!
