I recently had a hsg done about 3 days ago, I’ve been ttc for about for about 4 years and decided to get one , it’s a HORRIBLE FEELING !!!!!!!!! Felt like they were twisting the insides but thankfully only lasted about 30 or so seconds !! My tubes were unlocked and cleared the technician did mention about most women get pregnant after having a hsg so baby dust to me !!!!( btw I did bleed a little after and was provided with a pad and did take an 800 mg ibprophen 30 min before but did not work for me 🤕

The horror stories really sound bad. I’m contemplating whether to do a HSG. Had an ectopic pregnancy before, so high chance of having a blocked tube (I feel). Does anybody have any stories to share abt HSG after ectopic pregnancy? Thank you for sharing!

I was expecting it to be super painful after all the horror stories I read online. For me it was over so quick and my response was “THAT’S IT?!?” My tubes were clear so that might have played a role.
