My younger teenage sister (15 yrs old) has gotten permission to get on BC from my mom. I originally suggested it to both of them saying it may help her moods and her periods, but really its because my sister has been more romantically interested in boys lately. My mom said yes she thinks its a good idea. However, my mom also is very absent-minded and likes to ignore situations that make her uncomfortable and its causing a lot of issues with my sister asking for birth control. She also just moved from her dads over the summer from colorado and nobody will set up her health insurance. She's starting to get desperate and says "im not having sex so dont freak out but im thinking im going to tell mom i am so she puts me on it" ...thing is i think she will have sex and i want her to be protected from pregnancy. Would it be out of line to take her to planned parenthood myself?
