Feelings on a promise ring?

if your boyfriend (or girlfriend) got you a promise ring from uh, for example, wish. would you be okay with it? considering ones from wish or other stores like that, it’s pretty cheap at most 4$ sometimes.

My husband could have gotten me a ring pop or a ring out of a gum ball machine and I would've still said yes. I love my husband for him, and the cost of a tiny hunk of metal has no reflection on our relationship and the love we feel for each other

I feel like promise rings are for younger people. It’s a cute idea for a gift so it’s all good with me. 
I still think it’s cute even when ur older too..... I guess it is for any age. Idk. Just when I think of it I think of 16-23 year olds

as long as it doesn’t turn my finger green and is comfortable I am happy with literally anything. I’d actually prefer a cheaper, simple ring over a super expensive ring. For a promise ring or engagement ring.

i think it’s a cute idea, and mostly the thought that counts... but it all depends on the relationship you’re in. i’m a hopeless romantic so that’s probably why i don’t see anything really wrong with this but that’s just my opinion, though i could see how other people wouldn’t want this.
