When should you start a new birth control pill

I’ve just started my period but not sure what’s the right time/day to start a 28 day pill pack. Please help.

First day of your period, you’ll be protected immediately. Take it any time in your cycle then its around 5-7days until you’re protected.

If u start the pill now (while on ur period) it’ll be effective immediately. As far as timing, choose a time that’s going to be most convenient for u everyday. If that time has passed for today, then u can either start the pill anyway & just take it at the convenient time tomorrow, or wait & start the pill tomorrow at the convenient time.
