What is normal after D&C?

I’ve been bleeding and cramping quite a bit since my D&C 3 days ago. They said if there are clots to worry, it’s mostly just been heavy bleeding but I have had 2 or 3 small clots. Should I be worried, or is this normal? I was 15 weeks. Also, I’ve been having occasional PAINFUL contractions. I’m paranoid I’ll get an infection and mess up my chances for future pregnancies. I’ve never been through this before, any words of wisdom or experience to ease my mind? Thank you. 💕

Small clots are normal if you’re soaking a pad within an hour or if you have a fever of 100 degrees or more, I’d call the doctor

If u are filling a pad in an hour or less, fever, pain in stomach or having clots go to the doctors.. they were all my signs after my d&c and ended up with a double infection. I took a round of 2 different antibiotics and then went into another d&c on the 19th. I'm still having all the same issues and went to the hospital 12/21 & they were talking about doing a third d&c after this round of antibiotics. :(

I had one at 18 weeks and the cramping/clots/bleeding is normal. I think they said as long as the clots aren’t like golf ball size then it’s ok.
