Birth control: the copper iud vs the implant?

Okay ladies, so I’ve taken the pill before and I didn’t like it. It’s a hassle to remember to take it and it also made me gain weight ( which is really ironic because I’m skinny and never gain weight but I would’ve loved it if I had gain weight somewhere else rather than my face :( lol) anyways let me know what was your experiences bad, good? Any side effects? Thank you ladies 😊

I have the implant (almost 3 years with it). My experience has been nothing but pleasant. There has been no scares or complications. I haven’t had a period, no weight gain or change in acne. It actually increased my sex drive. Only negative side effect I really experience is my mood swings and those aren’t anything major either, I just find myself to be more emotional sometimes.

I’ve had the implant for 10 almost 11 months & like it. The only side effects I’ve experienced so far are spotting and not having a period (haven’t had one in 9 months which has been great)
Birth Control does affect everyone differently though, people experience longer bleeding, continous spotting, mood swings, etc. while on this form. So keep in mind you may experience these things if you do plan on getting it

I've never had the implant but I've had the copper IUD. I have heavy periods without birth control and the copper iud made it heavier. So I switched to the hormonal iud but other than that I would have stayed on the copper iud.
