Treated for UTI but still pain? please help!

i had sex on december 16th and quickly developed UTI symptoms two days later. i got to the doctor the next day and they confirmed that i had a UTI, and i took macrobid antibiotic for 5 days twice a day. it’s now a few days after being done with the pills and i still have a slight burning feeling however the feeling that i need to pee all the time is gone. what could the lingering burning be from?
