Do Jews masturbate or is that a no no? And what about Christians?

In the Christian faith, there is no verse in the Bible that specifically condemns masturbation, but it is seen as wrong. 
The theological reason for why it’s wrong is because of the motives for masturbation in the first place: pleasure and lust. 
In the Christian religion, pleasure itself is not wrong, but it becomes wrong when it becomes the only thing people live for. 
Masturbation also encourages the act of lust, which is to have a very strong sexual desire for someone. This is wrong because it worships a person instead of God. 
Matthew 5:28, 1 Corinthians 6:18 and 1 John 2:16 are all Bible verses that address sex and lust.

As an Orthodox Jew were are not supposed to masterbate. It’s a waste of seed. A waste at a chance of life. Now has my husband never masterbated in his life? Yes he has.

Im not 100% on jewish law or codes but as christians youre suppose to get married if you lack self control.  To stop sexual immorality so i would say youre not suppose to.
