I got my Mirena inserted on Oct. 31, my first period after that came on time but lasted 14 days. I have had unprotected sex since then and my period was supposed to start 2 days ago and it still hasn’t, and I have VERY regular periods. I know Mirena makes your period irregular at first so I’m probably just paranoid but it seems weird that my first one was so long and now it isn’t coming at all.

Could the start date of my period change since it ended over a week later or would it start at the same time?

I’m also still having period symptoms, like cramps and bloating.

I had a doctors appointment like 2 weeks ago and we did an ultrasound just to make sure my IUD was still in place and it is, so I don’t think it could have moved or anything.

This is basically just asking for reassurance that I’m not pregnant. I’m just terrified because this is my first IUD so I don’t know what to expect.
