This was the first Christmas since I was 12 that I’ve actually looked forward to the holidays.  I’m 46 now.  I was brutally raped at Christmas, under a tree no less.  Indeed this was a repeated event that took my virginity and faith in humanity and took place all over the house in one evening ( I was drug from room to room). I’ve finally come to terms with this and my relationship and outlook of the holidays is much better and to top it all off, I have an amazing and rewarding relationship with my husband of almost twenty years.  If’s is finally good.  I have hope again.  I pray you will too.  Blessings to you and yours.
