So my names rose and I’m 14 just turnt on the 22nd December so let me give u a bit of background info since I was 2 I’ve done gymnastics you could say that I was very good I competed a lot and most of them time I won I rember one of my most important comps I came 12 out of 150+ I trained 4/6 hours a week and practised everyday. Then I ripped my archillies or so we believe basically the back bendy but of the ankle. I tool 1-2 years of and lost everything I trained very hard and got everything back including my flexibility and strength.y teacher didnt really care tho so I left 2 years ago. Since then I still practise and used to do street and contemporary dance for 3 hours a week I then stoped and focused on contemporary for 1.5 hrs a week. I then started gcse pe where I had to put in a lot of work . November I started ballet because of pe and I’m in grade 3 and I do 2 hrs a week because they only do 2 grade 3 classes. I really would like to start pointe and have read up about it and it says that you need strong and flexible feet and ankles which I have from strengthening them everyday. Also I need to get my flexibility back I can’t even do the splits anymore and I feel like crying because if I stayed at gymnastics o would be very good and could’ve competed for England at the rate I was working So please can someone give me there opinion on whether I should start pointe and some stretching routines I could use to get my flexibility back

Xoxo rose

Ps thank you for reading if u have it’s just that it’s very important to me and I’ve never really discussed this with anyone and Rn I’m crying because it was a very emotional time for me and I feel like a part of me is missing. So please leave your opinion. Thank you again
