I almost didn’t get my maternity pictures 🤕

kinda long , sorry ! But there’s lots of pictures to make up for it .

On Sunday 12/09 after church i was supposed to get my pictures taken , but plans fell through . I was kind of disappointed but was over it .. anyways my sister felt bad and offered to take some for me so i settled .

Anyways , I’m finally ready to share my birth story .

I woke up at 3 am on 12/10 because i get wet while laying in bed . I was almost certain i didn’t pee bc i woke up to pee at 2 . When i stood up there was a gush of water so i was pretty sure it was my water that broke . I called the doctor to ask what i was supposed to do since it’s my first baby & i had no idea what to expect and i wasn’t feeling contractions at the moment .

They called me back after 20 minutes to tell me to come in , and it may be the day 😊 so i had my boyfriend pack the bags (we were so late , i know ) while i hopped in the shower. That’s when i started getting TERRIBLE back pains , turns out those were the contractions , i was expecting to feel them in my stomach , but back labor is a real thing & oh wow back labor is a BITCH lemme tell you 😪 when i got to the hospital , they checked me and i was at a 4 so they took me to l&d right away where i got the epidural which i didn’t want at first but i was in SO much pain 🤕🤧 i wimped out . After i got the epidural , i felt sooo much better ! That thing is a godsend omg 😭 anyways they checked me a few more times , i didn’t get to 9 1/2 cm dilated until about 3 pm , i had everyone asking me if i felt like i needed to push but i honestly didn’t even know what i was supposed to feel so after awhile i was like sure mostly because i wanted it to be over with . Man was that a mistake 😩 i pushed for 4 1/2 hours before she finally made her appearance at 7:23 pm at a whopping 9 pounds 1 oz , and 2 weeks early , i couldn’t believe it ! I had a 3rd degree tear and i probably wouldn’t of been that bad if i would have waited to start pushing but i was getting so impatient & irritated at my family . But it was all so worth it for my little babe ! I’m in love , she’s so beautiful .
