For my 18th bday / graduation present we took a family trip to California and went to Disneyland, Universal, Knots Berry Farm and Six Flags. It was sooooo much more worth it than having a graduation party for one night

Any of those would have been amazing for me. I got a day in bed relapsing from my illness then the second half of the day family went out. Might depend a bit on the person, their personality, preferences
