Which is better for beginners?

Hi there! My name is Madelyn and I’m 33 weeks pregnant with my second daughter. I love crafting and making things - I am super into wood crafts and just started weaving for fun. I want to learn to make baby blankets and possibly hats/booties. Which would be the best option for me to learn and why? Thank you!!!!

I tried learning to knit and failed, I was so frustrated. Crochet came a lot easier to me, I started a tiny bit several years ago then picked it up again just a few months ago and I've found it SO easy, I've made 7 blankets now and a few different style hats.

I learned to knit first, and then crochet. Crochet didn’t come easy, but it was easy to learn with lots of videos.

Been crocheting a baby blanket for a month and a half now.... only advice is get thick yarn to make it less time consuming. But I’ve stopped the blanket and now and making hearts they are so cute. I’ll eventually go back to the blanket but my daughter needs a heart blanket for her baby dolls and this mama is providing:)

I learned crochet as a kid and learned to knit as an adult. Try both and see what works for you. 
But I am biased toward knitting b ecause i think you can make way more useful and warm stuff esp for babies and the end result looks better in my opinion

I would say it depends. Like if you wanted to make booties probably crocheting and blankets probably knitting. I personally find knitting easier but it really comes down to who you are and your preference
