Hey everyone. I am due in about 4 months. I live in a small town and the nearest hospital is 1.5 hours away. I am nervous about this situation because there is potential I could give birth on the highway. Also I don’t have a tolerance to pain so I want every medical drug that is available for mothers giving birth. I would love to hear other peoples experiences for mothers that live in rural areas and have to drive far distance to a hospital. Can you still get the epidural if your contractions are very close together? Any pointers? Thanks for your input as I am very nervous about this. (Oh I wouldn’t be driving if your wondering.)
