Pack N Play Safe for Sleeping?

My LO is 9 weeks and is about to outgrow his bassinet. I'm stuck on what to do during this transition period. Is the raised part of a Pack N Play safe for sleeping at night? It doesn't seem super sturdy. The alternative would be to take apart the crib and move it into the bedroom. I do see a lot of people who already have their babies in the nursery by themselves. I'm tempted especially since he's so noisy. But I was under the impression that they shouldn't be in their own room until 6 months. Open to opinions.

The bassinet of the Pack n Play is safe for sleeping until 15 lbs or until they can roll over. After that, move to the main section for sleeping. We bought a nicer mattress since the mat that comes with it is really flimsy. A minicrib mattress and sheet are the right size. Hope that helps!

Yes pack n play is safe.. there is a weight limit on the top part but I’m sure at 9weeks you’re fine for a while.

Our little one is the same age and outgrew the bassinet last week. I had the same worry about moving her to her nursery because of the six month recommendation. Our bedroom isn’t big enough for her crib. 
So, we started doing a few naps during the day with her in the crib using the monitor to keep tabs on her to see how it went. Her nursery is right beside our bedroom and we are also using a baby monitor. Moved her into her nursery last week and it’s been going well. With the monitor and close distance we can still hear her and see her every time she moves around (the thing lights up if she moves) and it’s been going well. I was really nervous her first night in the nursery though!!

My first son and my LO sleeps on pack and play
