I went in for a vaginal ultrasound Christmas <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glow.android.eve">eve</a>. They weren't able to see a gestational sac or fetus. Just fluid in my uterus and loose tissue. I was told to prepare myself in the case that this isn't a viable pregnancy. I'm having to get my labs drawn every 48 hrs to check my HCG levels. The first draw was 21,000 and we have yet to get results for the second. They said my ultrasound was abnormal for being this far along. I understand that this is headed in the direction of a miscarriage if the HCG levels are dropping, but what does it mean if they continue to rise? Is there any chance this isn't a miscarriage? I've pretty much come to terms with where this is headed but everyone else is giving me false hope so I'm wondering if anyone else has gone through something similar?
