Wtf doctor 🙄

So I have been sick for almost a week. Like terribly sick. Cough, I lost my voice, body aches. Well surprise surprise my 15 month old woke up sick yesterday. He was sick all day with a nasty cough and then last night at about 11:30 he woke up and he was burning up. I took him temp and it was 104. I gave him some Motrin and we decided to take him to the ER since the nurses line never calls us back anyway. We didn’t wanna waste any time and my son was acting super weird, chugging water, rocking back and forth, screaming. So at the ER I explain everything to the doctor, his temp is now 102 and he takes a look at him for all about 30 seconds before he says, “it’s probably an ear infection. I’ll give you some antibiotics and send you home” Uhm what!? If it was an ear infection why would I be sick?? He just sent us home no problem! What would you do??
