Can a Velamentous cord cause a irritable uterus
I'm 29w1d ( possibly farther)
Anyways I was diagnosed with a irritable uterus(Abdominal Contractions) I've been told, and it has been a daily issue to the point that now im in premature labor, but thankfully still very early into the process.
I'm 2cm Dialated, and got a positive on the Fetal Fibronectin test on Thursday which I have been told because of that
there's a higher than baseline risk for preterm delivery in the 2 wk
window following testing.
My son has the Velamentous cord, as well as 2 extra pieces of the placenta, but he's perfectly fine.
He's extremely low though, which could very well be a cause of all of the irratation.
his head is so low and pushing on the cervix, also I have a past history of premature labor, but because of a short cervix which right now I don't have.
