Infant Fluoride Allergic Reaction

I gave my 10 month old the Tri-Vi-Flor prescribed by her doctor for the first time today. I have had it for months, but did not want to give it to my daughter. I decided to today because my dentist also thought I should. Within 5 minutes my daughter broke out in hives and I had to bring her to the ER. Has anyone else had their child have a reaction like this to fluoride? Yes, I know it isn’t good for them anyway, it’s too bad I went against my better judgement.
