Can people change?

My bf cheated on me in the past and he’s done everything he can do to show me he will be faithful and treat me right, ex:hes gave me his passwords and location and he’s communicates with me a whole lot more and he’s there for me a lot more then he was before and it makes me feel like i can count on him more then I have before and he listen to me when things are bothering and I see the way he moves or how ever you explain is different but in a good way. 
So do you ladies think people can change? Of am i being a fool? Or whatever.

So I cant speak for other people, but I cheated on my husband the first 2 months of our relationship. I stopped and he ended up finding out after we were married. Thankfully he chose to forgive me and work through it. But I would never do that to him again. I changed. I have become a diffetent person since I have been with him. So people can change if they want to. Doesnt mean they will. But they can

You know him best. The most important thing, is can you let it go and never think about it or doubt him or not trust him. If you answered no to any of these, it’s not him it’s you. Please don’t get me wrong, I’m not blaming you but your happiness depends on how you feel in the relationship. I think people make really poor choices and can honestly be apologetic for it. If his actions have or has caused you not to trust him, no matter what he does or doesn’t do, it just won’t work

I wouldn’t give him a chance, but if you do, please make sure you protect your heart. I’m not saying it bc of the “once a cheater always a cheater” but bc there’s an unlikely chance they will change a behavior like that. But it’s also not impossible.

I do believe people can change. What I think is going to be hard is you changing the way you feel. that voice in the back of your head telling you it might happen again is going to torment you. Checking his location am the time? Is that the life you want? That’s not a good way to live for you or a good way to have a relationship. Yes people can change. I think most of us have done things in the past that we’re ashamed of and learned our lesson especially if our decision hurt someone we love. I don’t believe in once a cheater always a cheater, if someone is genuinely sorry and has done nothing but try to show you how much they regret what they did then you give them another chance and obviously if they mess up again leave them.

I think people can “change” but the question is. How long is he willing to change for you? I think he could do whatever your heart desires, but you’ll always know deep down it happened & nothing will truly change that.
