If I’m pregnant (signs and 2 weeks late) with my boyfriend of 1 month, whom I love:

• I will want this baby with all my heart

• I will l choose to love this man forever

• I will work hard everyday to bring harmony since my parents and family do not trust/like/respect him for religious reasons.

• I will not close the door to my family since they are my dearest loved ones

• I’ll be strong and take up the hard path of motherhood, loving a man with mental illness, going outside my family’s blessing, seeing the love behind their words and accepting a miracle I did not plan on

• I will forgive myself for any blame I may feel for making the mistake and not preventing it well enough.
