My 2 year old seems like she has a cold... congestion, cough and a low grade fever. When she went to bed tonight she was “fine” but woke up crying and threw up. She has thrown up on several occasions from crying too hard so I’m not too sure if that’s the case or if it’s something else.

We are going to give her some Motrin and I’m waiting it to see how she is in the morning before calling an advice nurse. She’s currently cuddled up with grandma (she’s sleepy but can’t stay asleep).

This isn’t the first cold she’s had but what worries me is that she threw up. My husband strongly believes that it’s because she was crying and coughing simultaneously but I’m not too sure.

Any advice or insight is appreciated!
