Hi gals! I'm 40 weeks 4 days pregnant. I started to have slightly cramp and than feel like dripping. Went use bathroom and notice like your having your period. It is normal??? Its bleeding lightly come and still come. Do I need to go to the hospital?

Hi gals. Updated what happen the midnight. Sorry I'm not a very good explaining. Hope it'll make sense.That day I was bleeding I went straight to the hospital at mid night. Got there and they did a checking baby heart and contraction. I was bleeding due was my musuc plug "bloody show". My doc came check I was starting to dilating at 1cm and 90% effaced. But my contraction wasn't there much only 10 mins apart. So they ask me if I wanted to stay or go home. So I decide to go home if my contraction I can tolerate. Than they said okay but they want me stay for about 30 mins to make sure baby is fine. Than after 30 mins my contraction is getting even worst there about every 2 mins. The nurse say will they guess they will admitted me because my contraction is getting worse. They told me to go walk around. I did. Doc came back check I was 2 cm. Doc decide to admitted me. Got a room. They ask me if I want to get epidural. I told them no I wanted to go natural as possible. My contraction was getting worser and worser that I was so much in pain can't tolerate. Staying up all night till early morning at 7am doc came and check I was 4 cm only. She said she come back an hour so again. After every hours till afternoon my process of dilating is still 4 cm. Doc said I'll end getting c-section because I'm not dilating and my cervix is tighten like the midnight day I came. I told doc that I want to wait till even if that is possible if the process of my dilating isn't moving than I'll get it the c-section. Doc said okay. But than doc said she having a surgery to another patient. So I'm going have a different doc to c-section me. I was okay with it. Than after another 1 hrs the different doc that I going to c-section me came introduce himself and explain how the process going be if I'm not dilating till evening. The whole morning and afternoon I think they gave me medicine like pitocin for me. It didn't work at all. Still at 4 cm. So I feel like I'm was really really am getting if I'm not dilating. Decide to take epidural. Till that evening the doc came to check to see where I'm at. Still 4 cm. So I end up get the c-section. After all the c-section process. Baby came to the world. Yep. Doc said it's good that I make a quick decision of doing the surgery bcuz my baby was too big and I'm such a small person that's why I was having a difficult of dilating. Well I'm in pain and still in pain from the surgery. But all that matter is my baby boy came out healthy with no problems. He came on Friday 12/28 @ evening. Finally home with my handsome boy. He's 8Ibs 2.2oz 19 1.5inches.
