First time mom and c-section

Hey y’all. I’m a FTM and because of a few medical conditions I have to have a c-section. I am TERRIFIED. I have a condition called pseudo tumor cerebri. It means that I have a lot of extra fluid around my brain and that my brain behaves as if I have a brain tumor even though I don’t. I was diagnosed with this in February of 2018. Along w PTC I have to have lumbar punctures to check the fluid and all that. I had to have an LP to even diagnose this dumb disease. The original LP I had traumatized me. They hit a nerve in my back and I lost feeling in my legs for a few minutes. Basically long story short I’m TERRIFIED of anything coming near my spine. I literally am called in a strong nerve pill just to have a normal LP. Literally one pill for the day of the LP. lol Someone plz tell me it’s not as bad and that I’ll be okay? I’m so scared 😦
