UPDATE: Sleep Training
It’s time, friends. My 6 month old chunk (adjusted preemie age a little over 5 months) is still up once or twice per night to nurse so I’m nervous, but I know it’s best for both of us that he graduates from his Halo bassinet and starts sleeping in his crib. We will be getting started after the new year, he’s been off schedule with all of the family Christmas gatherings and I know we will have more success once we are back in our routine. Here’s my Clinton modeling his favorite diapers. 🥰
UPDATE: tonight Clinton fell asleep while we were playing in the living room and I decided to put him in his crib for bed. He naps in his room/crib during the day, but it’s his first overnight sleep. I’ve been up the entire time thus far LOL, I’m annoying. He slept from 9 p.m. to 1:50 a.m. and was just awake to nurse! He went right back to sleep. I’m snuggled up next to his monitor while my husband blissfully sleeps away, but he’s doing so well I hope my restless brain will let me fall asleep, too. I would have loved to put his crib in our room to ease the transition, but the setup of furniture and layout of the space makes it pretty impossible. Honestly it seems like he’s fine with the change and I’m the one with the anxiety. 😂😉 Thanks for all the advice!!
