My husband and I also say that boys can do whatever girls can do and girls can do whatever boys do. We’ve always taught our three boys that. My youngest loves the grinch. I bought green sparkly nail polish for myself and it has a picture of the grinch on it. My son asked me to paint his nails a few weeks ago and I painted one toe green. He’s been calling it his grinch toe. Today he asked if all his finger nails and toes could be painted. I don’t mind doing it but my husband asked that I don’t paint his finger nails. He’s worried that kids at school will make comments or people in stores will say something.
