You should get a good probiotic for women to get the vaginal pH back in balance.

I started using a vaginal soap. That's the easiest place for bacteria to enter so I keep it extra clean now. That & change your liners once a day, you can even use cleansing wipes once a day.

I’ve had it once I knew something was off from the smell , my doc told me stop using “ vagina soaps “ & if your douching that can cause you too have it also basically don’t put ANY chemicals or anything that will throw off your natural balance inside of your vagina you might think you need more & more soap to clean yourself or “ fix “ the smell but the more harsh chemicals you use the more you kill your good bacteria that will fight off the BV & the longer it will take to get rid of . Someone else suggested probiotics I think that’s a good idea just don’t try any weird methods they have on the internet putting things inside ( or even on the outside ) your vagina saying it’s a “ vagina detox “

I personally didn't know I had it. I went for a routine pap smear and my doctor told me. I had no issues other than the occasional yeast infection.
