Semi permanent/temporary hair dye suggestions?

I want to dye my hair turquoise or mint green or purple 
Also does it stain sheets or something?

So the first step you need to take is: 
Determining your natural hair color level 1 being the darkest (black) and 10 being the lightest (lightest blonde) Once you've determined the natural hair color level (the level of your hair at the roots) you'll need to take a look at your mid shaft and determine the level there and then your ends.. if it's all one color then this should be a simple process, if it's not.. it will be more tedious but if you want a good outcome from this it's necessary to do. here's a cheat sheet:

2. The next step is to figure out your desired level and tone, in order to reach your destination..
Turquoise: is B+B+Y, with that being said you'd have to lift your hair to at least a level 7 then tone with a level 7 violet toner to neutralize the yellow under tone. (You can skip the toner but just be aware that your color will come out more green than blue. 
Mint green: is B+Y+Y but since mint green is more of a pastel color youll need to have a more transparent level, I'd suggest lightening to a level 9 or if it's possible a level 10.
Purple: is R+B, so you could get away with lightening your hair to a level 6 at the darkest but I'd suggest bringing your level up to at least an 7, you'd then tone out any yellow with whatever level you bring your hair up to with a violet base.
Step 3: section hair into 4 parts, mix developer* and lightener in a color bowl then apply with a color brush

Start in one of the back sections and make a diagnal section  (a bout a quarter of an inch thick) and apply the lightener to the midshaft only on both sides of the hair your coloring to ensure even saturation Repeat until you've finished every section. 
Step 4: apply lightener roots pull through to the ends, cover hairline with cotton and  slip on a plastic cap, to help make the process go faster you can apply heat by using your hairdryer (with plastic cap still on) just be sure to distribute the heat evenly around your head
Step 5: strand test, take a strand from the last section you colored and check it by using a damp towel to remove the lightener, check the integrity of your hair making sure that it isn't becoming to elastic or brittle. 
Step 6: once your hair is to the desired level, rinse hair, shampoo it, apply toner to towel dried hair. Pour toner and it's developer into a color bottle shake apply quickly to the hair making sure you get your hair evenly coated (root to ends) essentially, I'd just stay in the shower, and squeeze it into my hair and then do the same motions you would if you were shampooing your hair but don't forget your ends... Leave it on 10-15 minutes, rinse.
Step 7: towel dry hair, apply a thin layer of Vaseline around your hairline, behind ears, around the neck being careful not to get the Vaseline on your hair. 
Step 8: section hair into 4 sections like before, apply your fashion color, apply to your midshaft first. Then go back do the roots and pull through to the ends. Clip hair put on plastic cap, apply heat if you'd like to, it's said to help keep the color locked in longer.
Step 9: Rinse hair in cool water DO NOT SHAMPOO. Once the color is rinsed out (water runs clear) apply a deep conditioner to hair (I suggest either it's a ten hair mask or Eufora deep conditioning hair mask) leave in for recommended time, rinse in cool water. 
Step 10: blow dry and style as desired.
The first couple of washes your hair may continue to bleed when wet, I suggest usuing an old pillow case/sheets for the first 2 weeks in order to keep your sheets from getting stained

You’ll have to have a very bleached hair for them to look decent. Also keep in mind blue will turn to green and will be difficult to remove. Personally I like ion I’ve used pink lavender and a titanium I think it was? Idk it was grey lol. They’re super easy to use. I add conditioner to thin it out which also makes your hair super soft.

Answer

You need to bleach your hair or these colours don’t take properly. If you rinse all the dye out properly after the recommended processing time it won’t cause any transfer or staining.
