And I mean making NEW female friends, not the ones he had before he got with you or knew before he met you, but randomly starting convos with them on social media and chatting with them a lot.

I would not be okay with the situation you posted. But if my fiance had female co-workers or something like that who he became friends with I would be fine with it. I've become friends with some of my male co-workers and we'll all hang out in a group with our SO's. 
The bottom line for me is what his intentions are. If he was searching out females on social media and trying to hang out with them alone or in inappropriate situations I would absolutely not be okay with it. If it's a harmless friendship and no boundaries are being crossed then he can have as many female friends as he wants! My SO and I respect each other and encourage each other to have our own lives and friends as well as the life we've built together!

It's sad how you women Don't allow your guys make new female friends but if he does the same thing( stops you from making male friends)  with you then he is controlling and toxic. Double standards much?
