As long as you and your partner are comfortable in the relationship and committed, then yeah your fine. dont let others who do and dont want the best for you, select how your life goes, do what's best for you, listen to your heart. Because what's going to happen is your gonna get married and divorced within a wink, because you listened to some else, or cause you didnt think it out, or even cause you didnt wait long enough.

My husband and I got engaged after 5 years together and married at nearly 6 years. I wouldn’t marry someone if I hadn’t been in a serious, committed relationship for a minimum of 5 years because I felt that gave us a better chance at making it work. We were able to grow together, go through good and bad times together, see each other at our best and our worst. We knew we were out of the honeymoon stage for sure and that we were comfortable enough with each other to be ourselves so you could really see if that person was someone you could live with for the rest of your life. 
Life is long, 5 years really isn’t all the much of it. If it takes 5 years to get married that’s not a bad thing and doesn’t take away from the life you could have together. I had a number friends get married within a couple years of meeting and getting married. A few have stayed married, but I’ve noticed that the ones that always had something negative to say about my relationship and how long we waited to get married either have a terrible marriage or ended up divorced. I don’t know if it’s karma or if they just rushed things- maybe a bit of both. So, get married when you are both ready and don’t listen to anyone else.
