U guys I’m panicking so much rn. My earring clasp completely got covered by my ear skin. Idk what to do to get it out. Suggestions/has this happened to anyone??

I’m more concerned about how you didn’t notice your piercing infiltrating at all. Go to your doctor and they will get it out and give you antibiotics.

This happened to me. I had a friend use a hot washcloth to soften the skin. After hours of pushing and massaging it, it came out. It wasn’t pleasant.

I would go to the Dr to get it cut out if you do it yourself you could do some serious damage or cause a bad infection

For minimal scaring or damage id personally go to a piercing shop to have them help remove it. But you can try taking a hot shower or a warm compress to soften the skin and try pushing it through but you may cause damage and end up not being able to have it redone once its healed

Just go to a *reputable* piercing shop for their advice. They are equipped to handle this. I’d recommend finding one with APP member piercers.

This exact thing happened to my daughter and a doctor had to surgically remove it. I would advise not going to a piercing place but a doctor instead

That happened to my ex one time, it wasn’t totally in there a little bit was sticking out so I just gently wiggled it out. I suggest not sleeping with your earrings in and constantly twist the earring to make sure it’s not getting stuck. Sorry this happened! 😥
