Looking for encouraging stories

Hi. My story in a nutshell. I have a healthy 3 year old with my husband (he was a happy oops). I was 34 when I found out I was pregnant with him, I'll be 39 in April, so may be 40 when I conceive or deliver. Now we want to grow our family, but I'm a few years older than he is. Two miscarriages in 2017. 6 rounds of clomid in 2018 with ti. Lastly, my husband was diagnosed with thyroid cancer over the summer, had a complete thyroid removal with radioactive iodine treatment. No semen analysis yet. I'm currently starting the process of testing with RE, RE seems very hopeful, not concerned with my age or weight. But I'm not catching that hopeful bug. Looking for some encouragement, encouraging stories etc... I'm an only child and I'm a little sensitive about the possibility of my son being one as well.
