How to identify CM when his ejaculate is inside?

Question

So, how are you supposed to identify your CM during your fertile window if you're having sex and your partner is coming inside you? Sorry for the graphic/blunt question, but the fact of his ejaculate inside a lot of the time makes it difficult to know what my CM actually looks like. Does anyone else have this problem?

I struggled with this. When I was TTC i read the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility and it explained how to tell the difference and how to get rid of the ejaculate. The book is a very good resource on all things fertility awareness.
