How bad is the pain when you get an IUD?

Period cramps. It kinda sucked but it goes away. I think it’s totally worth it. Never had any issues with my IUD

Just felt like really bad period cramps for me. I didn’t take any pain reliever before either. Only lasted a few seconds

I got a Numbing shot and I didn't feel mine

I was going to get one but it hurt too bad I had to make her stop. That was after having my son. Definitely not worth it to me.

For me it was horrible I was in extreme amount of pain for about a day after I honesty struggled to get to the bus stop after I left the gp I had to stop and sit down few times because of the pain I was in...

I had cramps down my vagina, ass and thighs. But only while it was being inserted. Just intense cramps. Then I had cramps for 2 weeks and the pain went away. No other side effects. After 2 months my periods lightened and after 4 they went away. I have mirena.
