So I never thought breastfeeding would be hard, mainly because all of the women I know never talk about it. Here is a list of all of the issues I am having, 2 months in-

1) no one told me it would hurt at first until right before I gave birth

2) the hospital forced me to pump because my daughter was in the NICU. I was lucky and she got to come home with me but we took some time to get back to nursing without pumping.

3) if one more lactation consultant at the hospital said “this is the Cadillac of breast pumps” I would have punched a hole in a wall

4) breastfeeding while being on your period is the pits soooooooooo tired
