Is your MC or that you’re TTC putting a dampener on your NYE celebrations?

I feel like I’ve had the best and worst year - I married my husband in the April but then miscarried my first ever pregnancy in the summer. I think a lot of people are expecting me to be like “this has been the best year ever” when in fact I just feel awful I lost our baby.

Honestly,  for some reason, new year's has never been a big deal to me. No more than flipping to the next month. I have no idea why!

Same thing, got married in June, miscarried just this past Friday I was 8 weeks but with a blighted ovum. It’s still quite a bit raw for us, so we’re both emotional. We’re staying in together and will drink just the two of us. Hope the new year brings a new successful pregnancy for us all.

Saaaaame! We got married in September, bought our first house at the end of November, found out I was pregnant for the first time ever the weekend we moved in & miscarried the first week of December, a week after finding out. I feel like that one miscarriage ruined the good things that happened this year & it’s all I can think about. I hated that the year ended on such a bad note. I am really hoping 2019 will be good to us all.

I’m looking at it as at least I can drink lol (I’m not a big drinker but I am an introvert and hanging out with family around the holidays is a perfect situation for some social lubricant 😂) 
But I definitely won’t be able to say this was the best year ever. If anything it was a mixed bag for sure. My husband got a great new job and my 16 month old is healthy and doing great, but our loss has really sucked. I was thinking last night that I should have been getting our 20 week scan soon if our pregnancy had been healthy. It does really make me angry.

I feel the same exact way! I married my husband in June, and was a bridesmaid in two other weddings for my closest friends. It really was an amazing year, but, we also got pregnant for the first time (found out right before Halloween) and lost our baby December 11 when we thought we were ten weeks pregnant. It was the worst time of our lives for that first week or two and I still break down and cry almost daily. It is hard not to let miscarriage mask all of the good that happened this year and I am trying my best to not allow it to take away all the happiness we had. It has already taken so much from me. Ya know? But, I really have a great feeling for the upcoming year and am so ready for it to be here. 🌈💕 I am thinking of you and hoping you get your rainbow.
