How long did or are you planning on breastfeeding for?

I wanted to breastfeed for the first year. We made it two months and it seemed my milk was just poof, gone. I miss it so much.

I voted 5 months because we’re almost at that point now and will probably be transitioning to fully formula feeding soon. Breastfeeding has been a constant struggle for us and is starting to impact my mental health/well-being.

I hope to breastfeed for 12 months, or whenever they are supposed to keep having breast milk or formula? Going back to work next month though and don’t have a supply built up and little one is sensitive to dairy so idk what to do 🤷🏻‍♀️ need to do some more research

Originally I thought 6 months but then I realized I’m too cheap to give formula so we’ll see if we can make it to 12 months.
I’m sure once she starts solids that might change a bit

I wanted to do it for aslong as she wanted too. But i have breast surgery in October so ill go aslong as i can.

Definitely gonna try to make it to 12 months. I already know I’ll get pressure from family after a year though 😭
