Dec turned Jan baby

Well I'm 3 days past my due date and looks like I'll have a 2019 baby. I'm trying so hard to keep my mindset positive, but really struggling today. I just got home from urgent care where I found out I have bronchitis (MIL was sick over Christmas and didn't tell anyone.) So it's probably for the best that my little guy is a little delayed. Maybe I'll have time to get healthy. And my friend who was due 2nd week of Jan already had her little one... I'm embarrassed to say I'm a pretty jealous. Sorry to vent - just feeling down today.

Baby is here! He was born last Thursday (4 days ago) via emergency c- section after prolonged labor and fetal distress. I'm still working through the emotions surrounding his somewhat traumatic birth, but I'm overjoyed with the arrival of my perfect little boy! 💕Please meet Casey James, the love of my life.

I’m in the same boat. Was due 12/28 and no baby yet. Also came down with some sort of chest infection that I’m trying to treat. 😭 I want her here, but also would like whatever I’m fighting to subside before she comes.
