My man and I had planned to go to the zoo yesterday and I was hoping to get there about 12:30. I’ve had a hell of a time lately just adulting stuff, money, cleaning the house, house repairs, work sucked. So I called him at 10:30 to make sure everything was all set. He picked up and we talked So an hour later I text hey getting close. So when noon rolls around I start getting pissed then one then 2 o clock rolls around. I’m furious. Hadn’t heard anything and I was worried he crashed on his bike again. So then he calls and says I am so so sorry honey. I fell back asleep right after we talked on the phone. He lives an hour away so he arrived at 3 o clock. I was very upset I had been looking forward to this for two weeks. And it was a huge let down. So he arrives with roses and apologized profusely, we didn’t make it to the zoo but we made it to zoo lights. Like Christmas lights decorated all over the zoo. He took me out to dinner before and he paid me back for both tickets. He said he’s going to take me next weekend. Then we proceeded to have the best makeup sex we have ever had lol. I’m very lucky to have someone who owns their mistakes and makes up for them.
