Depo shot causing infertility?

Question

Has anyone had any issues with trying to conceive after taking this shot? 
How long does it take for it completely wear off? 
 Should I lose hope with trying to conceive? 
It s been almost 3 years since and my periods are still not regulated and I have been unable to conceive....

I think it caused issues with my body. My husband and I were teen parents, one time, and bam pregnant. 
I was on the shot for 3 years I think. I didn't have a cycle the whole time. I quit taking it, and for over a year my cycle never came back! I went to a doctor and they diagnosed me with thyroid disease. Once I started medication my cycle came back.
Over 5 years we had one miscarriage. No other pregnancies. We ended up going to a RE, I had an HSG done and got pregnant immediately. I think being on the depo and not ovulating/having a cycle cause my tubes to become blocked. My HSG showed no blockages, kinks, overflow etc, but there had to have been something. 
That pregnancy went fine. Baby born 2/2016. I had my IUD removed summer of 2017 and I've just now gotten pregnant again.
I don't blame it all on the shot, but I do think it's played a part in our issues conceiving.
