Be a surrogate or not

I recently decided i was done having kids so i made an appt to tie my tubes because i am REAL fertile my husband wanted one more but i personally think im done we have a full house we are good and getting older well recently i saw a post of an old childhood friend that her sister is trying to get a gofund to start IVF but im thinking should i ask to be her surrogate they have tried for 9 years or is it intrusive
