Were you more attracted to your man in the beginning when life was good and honeymoon stage?

Then you saw them for who they really are you still love and like them but the attraction fades? I can’t be the only one! I’m not a bad person I swear it just life I think 🤔 life is hard

It was just more exciting and new for me . I’m just comfortable and calm now

I didn’t have a honeymoon stage I had a more of “this is hell what did I do?” Stage. But now after a year and a half I couldn’t be happier . Things get better 🙏

I think in the beginning I was terrified of being married. Like “wow ok I did this I’m with him forever “😱😂
But it’s 10 years later and it’s calmed down.

of course it fades, that’s life, it doesn’t make you a bad person! if you want it to feel fresh again it can. my husband and i hit a rough patch.  nothing major just.. sort of “meh”. and we had a hard time communicating our way through it like we normally do. we found a therapist who helped us identify our core emotional needs and gave us tools for connecting again and it’s like we’re getting to know each other all over again just on a deeper level. it CAN feel fresh again. but it’s not all on you. it takes two  💃🏻 💃🏻 if you can’t find or afford therapy i’ve found that books helped us too. we read “7 principals for making a marriage work” by gottman together (in the car as an audiobook) and that also helped us have a shared vocabulary for some of the flatness we were feeling. marriage is work but it can be the fun kind.

It faded for me for a while. I'm not sure what happened to me, but now I love him way differently. I love him so much that even in the hard times, and we're actually in a really bad place right now, I still feel so in love and I'm still so attracted to him.

It doesn't fade.. it's a totally different feeling... First few months are more like "lust" rather than "love" butvafter that is what matters.. if u enjoy the company, the looks, the personality and the sex then u don't need what u felt in honeymoon phase :) although sometimes u WILL feel it again out of the blue in a moment of normal daily routine or through a memory or if he does a romantic gesture u weren't expecting
